Synthflow alternative
An alternative to Synthflow, without an enterprise contract
Synthflow is a capable voice-agent platform from Berlin with a visual builder and an EU data cluster. Its pricing is now sales-led, with enterprise contracts starting at $30,000 a year, and SIP trunking is an Enterprise feature. VoiceDock starts on prepaid credit at € 0,07 per minute, connects your own SIP trunk, lets you choose and bring your own model providers, and builds your voice system alongside your team. Below: how Synthflow prices and sells today, a comparison per buyer requirement, and the cases where Synthflow is the better choice.

Why teams start comparing
Four reasons a team looks past Synthflow
None of these make Synthflow a weak product. They follow from how it is now packaged and sold.
You want to start without a $30,000 contract
Synthflow's billing documentation says its pricing is sales-led and scoped per customer, and its pricing page shows enterprise contracts starting at $30,000 a year. On VoiceDock you create an account and start on prepaid credit at € 0,07 per minute, with model usage at cost. The full pricing is public, and how to work out the cost per minute is written up separately.
You want your own phone line without an Enterprise plan
Synthflow's SIP documentation states that SIP and PBX integration requires an Enterprise plan. We connect your own number over your own SIP trunk with you, and transfer calls back to a person or another number, warm or cold.
You want to choose the models and use your own keys
Synthflow documents an option to use your own OpenAI key, which appears only when your account team enables it. On VoiceDock you pick the language, transcription and voice providers per assistant, and can run them on your own provider keys, self-serve, so the provider bills you directly.
You resell, and the built-in billing went away
Synthflow removed in-product reselling through Stripe on 15 September 2026, and points agencies to a migration guide for billing their subaccounts without it. On VoiceDock a parent organisation covers usage for its customer organisations, with a price per organisation. Our white-label setup and agency setup both run this way. Telecom and VoIP providers have a page of their own, and software companies can start from our partner page.
Side by side
Synthflow and VoiceDock, per buyer requirement

The bill
What Synthflow costs, and what we charge
Synthflow no longer publishes self-serve rates. Its billing documentation says your rates, allowances and invoice terms come from your agreement. What it does publish is below.
| Synthflow item | Published price (USD) |
|---|---|
| Enterprise contract | From $30,000 per year, priced on volume, concurrency, telephony, integrations, security and launch support |
| Self-serve plans | None listed on the pricing page; pricing is scoped with the Synthflow team |
| Agency plan (still listed on a Synthflow product page) | $1,400 per month, or $1,250 per month billed annually, with 6,000 minutes, then $0.12 per minute |
| Enterprise volume rate (same product page) | As low as $0.08 per minute |
| Phone number | $1.50 per month, US, Canada and Australia |
| Rates per component (model, voice, telephony) | Not published; set in your agreement |
| Concurrency | Scoped with Synthflow |
| In-product reselling through Stripe | Removed on 15 September 2026 |
Our side of it
Public rates, starting on prepaid credit
Our orchestration fee is € 0,07 per minute, for inbound, outbound and web calls alike. Model usage on our keys is passed through at cost; on your own keys your provider bills you and the fee stays the same. Telephony is billed per leg at the carrier's rate. You can start without a contract. At enterprise volume Synthflow's negotiated rate may well come out lower than our fee plus models, so compare the total per connected conversation for your own volume. How to work that out per minute is written up in full.
Where we would not argue
When Synthflow is the better choice
A comparison that wins on every line is not worth reading. Four cases where Synthflow is the stronger fit.
Your team wants to build without writing code
Synthflow is built around a visual builder for agents and flows. If the people who will maintain the agents are not developers and want to own it themselves, that is a real advantage.
Your calls run through a contact-centre platform
Synthflow documents SIP setups for Five9, Genesys Cloud, Talkdesk, RingCentral, Dialpad, 8x8, 3CX and others. If your agents have to sit inside one of those stacks, much of that groundwork is already written down.
You need certifications from the vendor itself
Synthflow lists SOC 2, GDPR and ISO 27001 for its Enterprise plan, and offers a HIPAA business associate agreement for health data in the US. If your procurement requires those from the vendor directly, that settles it. Our certifications sit with our infrastructure providers, as the Trust Center explains.
You are buying at enterprise scale, with a full launch programme
Synthflow's Enterprise plan bundles an SLA, implementation, onboarding, training, launch support and ongoing optimisation, and its volume rate can go as low as $0.08 per minute. For a large deployment that wants one contract covering all of it, that package is hard to argue with.
Switching
How a move from Synthflow works
Moving is a short list of work, and we do it with you rather than hand you a guide.
- 01
Take stock
We list what your Synthflow agents do: prompts, flows, actions, webhooks, post-call data and the numbers they answer. - 02
Rebuild
Agents become assistants, flows are rebuilt with you, and actions become tool calls into your own systems. How tool calls into business systems behave on a live line is worth reading before this step. - 03
Point the telephony at us
If your numbers run over your own SIP trunk or your own Twilio account, the routing is pointed at us instead. Numbers bought from Synthflow are something to settle with Synthflow before you plan the move. Transfers are tested against real destinations, because a transfer that fails is where callers get lost. - 04
Test, then go live
Test calls first, then real callers, while you keep your Synthflow setup until you are satisfied. What happens on our side when a server fails is on the reliability page.
Questions
What people ask when they compare Synthflow
How much does Synthflow cost?
Synthflow's pricing is sales-led: its pricing page shows enterprise contracts starting at $30,000 a year, and its billing documentation says rates, allowances and invoice terms come from your agreement. A Synthflow product page still lists an agency plan at $1,400 a month with 6,000 minutes and $0.12 per minute after that. Phone numbers cost $1.50 a month. Figures retrieved 5 October 2026.
What does VoiceDock cost per minute?
€ 0,07 per minute for orchestration, for inbound, outbound and web calls alike, plus model usage at cost on our keys or billed directly by your provider on your own keys. Telephony is billed per leg at the carrier's rate. You start on prepaid credit, without a contract. The details are on our pricing page.
Is VoiceDock cheaper than Synthflow?
To start, yes: there is no annual minimum, while Synthflow's enterprise contracts start at $30,000 a year. At large volume Synthflow's negotiated rate can go as low as $0.08 per minute, and depending on the models you run that can come out lower than our fee plus models. Bring us your call volume and the models you want and we will work it out with you.
Does Synthflow process data in the EU?
Yes, on its EU cluster, which keeps all data and processing in the EU. You choose the cluster when you create a workspace and cannot change it afterwards. The legacy Global cluster stores data in the EU but processes live calls in either region, and is being retired in Q4 2026. VoiceDock runs orchestration, dashboard, API and storage on EU infrastructure.
Can I use my own phone number?
Yes. You connect your own number over your SIP trunk, and we set that up with you. A managed number is available on request for testing and setup. On Synthflow, SIP and PBX integration requires an Enterprise plan; without it you can connect your Twilio account.
Can I choose or bring my own models?
Yes. You choose the language, transcription and voice providers per assistant, and you can run them on your own provider keys, self-serve, with the orchestration fee staying € 0,07 per minute. Synthflow documents your own OpenAI key as an option your account team enables.
Can I move my Synthflow agents to VoiceDock?
Yes, by rebuilding them rather than importing them. Prompts, flows, actions and webhooks all have a counterpart on our side: assistants, tool calls, webhooks and post-call analysis against a schema you define. We do that work with you and test transfers and tool calls before real callers are routed.
Can I resell VoiceDock under my own brand?
Yes, arranged with us. A parent organisation can cover usage for its customer organisations, with pricing per organisation, so you set your own price to your own customers. The white-label and agency setups both run this way.
Synthflow, Bland AI or Retell AI: what is the difference?
Synthflow is a Berlin company with a visual builder, an EU cluster and sales-led pricing. Bland and Retell are US platforms with published self-serve rates: Bland sells one all-in rate that includes its own models, Retell a voice infrastructure fee with models and telephony billed on top. We set VoiceDock next to Bland, Retell and Vapi on separate pages.
